How do I register my child for the team?
Information about the registration dates can be found on the Highland Park's website. Once registration opens, online registration can be found here, under the aquatics program tab.
Can my child swim on Saturday in GCSL meet if they swam in GCSL meet on Wednesday?
They can swim both Wednesday and Saturday. However, to make room for everyone it is suggested that your child does not swim the same events on Wednesday and Saturday.
What time should we arrive at meets and how long do they take?
Wednesday meets generally last about 2.5 hrs. Saturday meets usually last about a half-hour longer. Times for arriving will vary and will be posted on the event. PLEASE remember times for events can change - especially when we are at pools other than Highlands. Be ready to warm-up and swim at the posted time.
If we only swim on Saturday do we still have to volunteer?
Yes. We need everyone's help for successful meets. Please volunteer at least 3 times AND sign up to bring concessions for home meets. If your child swims in GCSL and your family does not volunteer at least 3 times during the season your child will be ineligible to swim at FINALS (championship meet).
