Hello Otters!

Goodness, it is hard to believe that we are nearing the end of our season and our championship meets for both COSA and GCSL are just around the corner...time sure flies when you are having fun! 

For COSA Finale on July 6-  COSA is at its core a 'developmental league' and although we have let pretty much anyone sign up to swim these saturday meets, as we get to the COSA finale that will likely not be the case.  Our rule of thumb for signing up for the COSA finale is that, if your swimmer is swimming individual events in our wednesday night GCSL meets, they will swim GCSL champs on July 15th.  Please do not sign them up for the COSA finale.  (The exception to this rule is our 6 and unders, they can swim both as they typically don't do relays and only have 2 event options.)  For COSA champs we will also need volunteers to help run the meet.  Highlands is slated to provide 4 timers, 1 awards table, 1 bullpen worker and 1 official.  If you are reading this and thinking you will be at COSA champs please also be thinking about which position you could fill.  Signups are available now.

For GCSL Championships on July 15- We are the host site, oh boy! We will have LOTS of volunteer opportunities available!  We are currently looking for someone to head up our concessions and hospitality effort...let us know if that person could be you!  Outside of that position, we will also need plenty of concessions donations, bullpen workers, hospitality, and deck marshalls.  Signups coming shortly!
